Table Captain Information

I am reaching out as I have volunteered to serve as a table captain for CASA of Northwest Arkansas’s Light of Hope event on November 10. Normally, we would gather for breakfast (or lunch), but the event will be virtual this year. I invite you to join me in watching the event online at 8 a.m. (or 12 noon) that morning (day).

I first became aware of CASA through _____________________. I appreciate all this local organization does to speak up for the best interest of abused and neglected children in our community. For the past 23 years, they have been empowering volunteers to make sure children don’t fall through the cracks of an overburdened, foster care system.

CASA of NWA recently completed a five-year growth initiative to be a voice for every child in foster care in our region (968 children, FY2020). But, the pandemic is challenging their capacity to meet the needs of new foster care cases. That’s why I hope you will join us to learn how you can help, as a volunteer and/or donor.

If you have a Facebook page, I will invite you to join my virtual watch party. You’ll just log-on to Facebook about 10 minutes before the event and accept my invitation to join my watch party (it will show up as a notification for you). This way, we can use the chat box to communicate with each other during the program. If you’d rather watch it on your own, just log-on to CASA’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/CASAofNWA) or their event site (www.nwacasa.org/events/light-of-hope) a few minutes before the start of the program on November 10.

In the coming weeks, I will keep you updated on event details and send reminders so you won’t forget.
